Exercise became a big part of my life in August 2011, when I decided I was going to start running. Since that day, I have incorporated running and fitness in to my life. I ran my first 5K in October 2011, and plan to run my first half marathon in Chicago in July 2011. I am training for a half marathon in April that will most likely not do... but want to add some structure to my workouts. I have come a long way!

I was never a 'natural' runner, huffing and puffing around the track when having to 'run' the mile in school. It was so embarrassing. I have taken that and transformed it in to new energy! Now I am able to run up to 5 miles, and run 2 - 5 miles on a regular basis.
